On 57 minutes, Ricardo Quaresma sent the Besiktas support into a mad frenzy with a simply glorious goal against Trabzonspor.

Quaresma appeared to be going nowhere down the right when he hit the far post with an effort that came back off into the near corner.

Trabzonspor goalkeeper Onur Kivrak looked simply ridiculous.

In a later twist that will surprise no one who has followed Quaresma’s up-and-down career, the Portuguese winger was sent off just four minutes after the goal for two bookable offences.

Trabzonspor won the game 2-1.
